Is this another love song? After listening to “The Beautiful Game” by RAC and St. Lucia for the first time, you might be a little stumped. Their use of metaphor creates crazy images that almost seem like they were haphazardly thrown together. They’re definitely a conversation starter. It may seem like there’s nothing simple about the story that’s being told, but once you catch on, I’m sure that you’ll find that this is just a song about the struggles of figuring out the game of love. The dancey beat, blurbs of layered guitar and synths, and forward vocals make for a perfectly constructed pop song.
