Spray Allen “Sabotage”

As a UConn fan, it was hard for me to post the “Georgetown Iverson Freestyle” last week. Conversely, posting a band named Spray Allen is a no-brainer and not just because the name pays homage to the great number 34. The band is the new project from former Sublime bassist Eric Wilson, original Unwritten Law drummer Wade Youman, and Daniel Lonner (vocals) and Eric Sherman (guitar) of Late Night Episode.

“Sabotage,” which has nothing to do with the Beastie Boys‘ song of the same name, is a self-described “soft rock song.” With breezy guitars and crooning vocals, the song bridges the gap between Jack Johnson-stlye folk pop and 80s yacht rock. It is perfect “relaxing by the beach” music.
