Connecticut’s Stephen Peter Rodgers is perhaps best known for his work with Mighty Purple from the early 90s through the late aughts. He is preparing to release his first solo album under the name Stephen Peter Rodgers on July 22nd. The lead single from the album is “Let’s Live a Real Life.” The song has a heartland rock feel with little hints of dream pop mixed in. It reminds me of artists like The War on Drugs or Future Islands.
