Switchboard Suitcase, the project of Canadian singer/songwriter André Nault, just released their new single, “A Mess Of It.” Over an acoustic guitar strum, Nault’s baritone vocals are reminiscent of Paul Banks. As the song develops, “That Thing You Do”-esque drums and jazz organ are added to the mix. Still when the blazing electric guitar solo happens late in the track, it feels like a fun surprise.
