After releasing a handful of cover songs, Vangelism just dropped their new original single, “Eighteen.” Musically, the song is still the lo-fi garage rock you expect from the duo but the vocal approach is a bit different. The verses have an almost Craig Finn feel to them with a sort of sing/talking delivery. The chorus is more in line with previous Vangelism efforts with yelled vocals reminding me of 90s Local H.
